DOULTON BURSLEM AESTHETIC PERIOD CUP & SAUCER | CIRCA 1886-1902
Hand painted with a stylized design of daisies in blocks of yellow, blue, or pink flowers
Center sections are a mass of tiny blossoms all clustered together in matching colors
Gilding is gorgeous and edges the ruffled and ridged blank shape
Very nearly perfect antique condition with only the most minor losses to gilding
One tiny flake to outside edge of handle - appears to have been in-painted a very long time ago
Underglaze mark as shown in photos
Saucer measures about 5.5" across and cup is 2.25" tall and 3" across top

This beautiful set is a perfect match for a similar Doulton plate I found, amazing to be able to have 3 pieces now! Both pieces in mint condition, shipped very fast, and wonderfully packed. I love how they look together, a star of my collection. Thank you so much!
