ENGLISH PORCELAIN TEA SET

VERY NICE HAND PAINTED SET WITH FLOWERS AND LEAVES

Sweet circa 1820 English tea service with a design of hand painted flowers and leaves.
Consists of:
1 TEAPOT - flaws include hairline crack in base, chip on spout tip, small hairline in lid, some discoloration and paint losses. 6 x 10"
1 COVERED SUGAR - separation in rim (manufacturing defect), slight paint losses. 5.5" x 6.5"
1 CREAM JUG - paint losses, tiny roughness to tip of spout. 4" x 5.25"
2 CUPS and 2 SAUCERS - some paint losses, some manufacturing flaws in one saucer. Cups 3.5" diameter, saucers 5.75" diameter.
Most pieces marked with a "609" on bottom and initial M. One cup has "626".

Excellent condition considering its age!
