WONDERFUL ANTIQUE AESTHETIC VICTORIAN ERA FISH SET

Features a large platter with an Aesthetic decoration border and the form has rolled corners like a handkerchief as do all 12 individual plates.

What I LOVE about this set is the sea life depicted. Most fish sets have exactly that - fish. THIS set has shells, crabs, sea flora, rays, seahorses - you name it. Appears to be transfer outlined - but all the color and details are hand painted. The border is transfer decorated with hand gilding. EVERY PLATE IS DIFFERENT - nothing is repeated.

And a bonus that even the BACK is decorated with sprays of wild flowers and insects.

Platter is 24.5" by 9.5" and each plate is 7.75".

Likely will ship this in two parcels - 1 for platter and another for plates so that the dimensional weight isn't nuts.
